Goal
Design a Campaign of three posters that communicates a currently-relevant topic using the three modes of persuasion of ethos, logos, pathos represented through graphical diagrams.

Project Statement
I chose the topic of Euthanasia because it is an important topic that people aren't comfortable discussing but affects many people. Euthanasia focuses on a terminally ill, severely suffering, competent adult who gives informed consent to medically assisted suicide. Terminally ill patients can have their quality of life severely damaged by physical conditions. We have an obligation to respect a person’s right to autonomy, self-determination, and dignity. Euthanasia affects people’s lives and not just their deaths. People do not just die from a terminal illness — they live with it as do their family members and doctors. Granting the right to seek assisted suicide will change how people live with a terminal illness and how families will cope with their deaths and how doctors will administer care.

Concept Posters
Ethos, Pathos, and Logos are modes of persuasion — three different ways to convince someone about something. The graphical posters below provide three arguments that advertises a campaign on the importance of Euthanasia and why it should be legal.

Logos or the appeal to logic, means to convince an audience by use of logic or reason.

Pathos or the emotional appeal, means to persuade an audience by appealing to their emotions.

Ethos or the ethical appeal, means to convince an audience of the author’s credibility or character.
